<p>I have watched a lot of great high school basketball, over the last four month, touching on many of those players the last two weeks. Here are a few others that have stood out this summer.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">There is a lot to like about Wirtz, an incoming freshman for Racine Case, and looks like he could make an immediate impact this season for a team that went 22-6 but graduated 3 of their top 4 scorers. Strong in the post, Wirtz has good footwork, a soft touch, and an ability to finish through contact. Defensively he move his feet well, understands off-ball positioning, and how to use his length to disrupt passing lanes.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Another member of 24:UP that makes the list, Berlin has had an outstanding summer. 6-3 and physical, Berlin has used his strength, and sneaky athleticism to be one of the more creative and consistent finishers around the rim. Deadly in the screen-and roll, Berlin has shown a nice mid-range to go along with an improving three-point shot.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Walker, a 6-2 junior<ins>,</ins> stood out to me, this summer, as a player to watch out of La Crosse Central. What catches my eye is that he is the type of player that does a great job of lulling his defender to sleep and knows when to pick his spots to blow by and make the defense pay. Seemingly always around the ball, Walker has had a great summer showing off his physical style of play, not only in the post, but on the glass where he is virtually unmovable once he establishes position.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Romo (6-5) stands today as the #100 in the 2028 class but I expect that he will climb up the charts with what I have seen this summer. Possessing good height, length, athleticism and a nice feel for the game, Romo uses a quick first step to get to the basket, at will, and defensively causes nightmares blocking or changing almost every shot around the hoop. As a sophomore he averaged 17.5 ppg and 6.3 rpg, for the Orioles, and looks like he has taken another jump this summer.</p>
