Summer Rankings Update: New 2028 Names to Know

He got after it on defense with his aggressiveness on- and off-ball. On top of the steals he generated, Jackson showed off his jumper too. Despite not having the best physical tools, he always managed to come up with rebounds versus bigger players inside the arc. His sturdy legs made him impossible to uproot on box outs but empowered him to move others when he put a body on them. He sped offensive players up with his pressure on the ball, defensively. Then, once he forced a turnover or had the ball in the halfcourt, Thomas tilted the defense off the bounce. He made a habit out of getting to the cup for two or finding a teammate with a pocket pass. His “super power” was his “motor,” which never stopped. Without a robust skill set, he was always around the ball because he contested shots and cleaned the glass like his life depended on it. So he racked up second-chance points with ease, on top of getting open off-ball. With his long arms and strong upper body, he established his presence at the rim early in games, with blocks and physical boards. Werigbelegha displayed some subtle mobility in space too when he guarded ball-screens. His offensive game is still coming into form, but he forcefully finished above the rim and flashed touch with mid-range and long-range jump shots. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
