Down two key players, Jackson came out blazing from start to finish when his Buccaneers took on Great Oaks. He was lethal coming off screens where he could stop on a dime and fire from three or get downhill before pulling up from mid-range. Jackson also added secondary playmaking by locating teammates around the basket. He hit two threes in the first half, but with time winding down in the second, he met the moment with three more that gave the Bucs a fighting chance. Jackson led all participants with 28 points, plus 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal.

Coming home to Delaware after a couple seasons as Roman Catholic, Jackson fit right in with the Buccaneers and made a splash immediately. He got after it on defense with his aggressiveness on- and off-ball. On top of the steals he generated, Jackson showed off his jumper too. His comfort and assertiveness from three made him a player who had to be defended and opened space for everyone else.
