Today, it's time to take a look at some talented long and slender perimeter players from around the state. These talented prospects have excellent height and length and plenty of skill level to go along with it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528025' first='Sebastian' last='Bolden'] (Clayton): The 6'4" 2027 guard has seen his stock rise over the course of his high schooll career as much as any player. He was a very productive 5'9 guard as a freshman. Now, he's a long 6'4" guard and possibly still going, and still a scoring machine. Colleges have also taken notice as Division I schools have expressed plenty of interest in the past year. He is a smooth 3-point shooter who makes a high percentage on a high volume of attempts. He is also an excellent all-around scorer who can get a bucket at all three levels. He averaged 26 points a game last season in leading the [program_tooltip program_id='2076546' first='Greyhounds' last=''] to a berth in the Class 4 state championship game. He will continue his summer play with the Gateway Knights 17U team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2334961' first='Leon' last='Powell Jr.'] (Vashon): The 6'6" 2027 small forward had an excellent month of June while playing for his Wolverines team. He was outstanding at the Midwest Showcase in Columbia and followed it up with another strong weekend at the Edwardsville Live Showcase. He was impacting the game in so many ways with his length and athleticism. What was most impressive about his play that we saw was his motor. It was constantly running and it elevated every facet of his game. His jumper was looking pure as he was pulling up and getting nice elevation. His rebounding was tenacious as he attacked the boards at both ends of the court. He was also defending at a high level as he was disruptive. He will continue his play in July with the SW IL Jets 17Us.

[player_tooltip player_id='2872951' first='Skyler' last='Jaegers'] (Helias): The 6'7" 2028 wing player has continued to emerge as one of state's top prospects in his class. He keeps getting taller and his game continues to grow as well. One thing he can do extremely well is shoot the ball. His range is deep and he has a lot of confidence in his shooting stroke. He is also a good athlete who can handle the ball and handle the playmaking duties for his team when he needs to. His court vision is excellent as he can thread the needle with pinpoint passes or just pass it over the defense. He plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='3625434' first='Family' last='First'] 16U squad out of Jefferson City.

[player_tooltip player_id='2898246' first='Kaivon' last='Alexander'] (Hillcrest): A 6'5" 2029 guard from Springfield who is one of the top young prospects in the SWMO area. He has accomplished a great deal in his first two years of varsity ball, but he is just starting to scratch the surface of his vast potential. He has explosive athleticism to go along with his height and length. He covers a lot of space with his long stride on the drive and he can also create his own shot and elevate on the jumper. He can also be an ideal switchable defender who can guard multiple defenders very effectively. He helped the Hornets to a third-place finish in Class 5 last season. He returns to grassroots action in July with his KC RunGMC 15U squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617718' first='Coleman' last='Watson'] (Lafayette): A 6'4" 2028 standout who is one of the top point guards in his class. He entered high school at right about 6'0" but he has grown in stature and his game as continued to grow as well to the point where he is a Division I prospect. He has already received an offer from Lindenwood University, which was the first of what should be many more coming down the road. He is very smooth and fluid in his movements to the point where defenders don't realize that he's blowing by them on the dribble. He can also stop and pop from the mid-range and also create the space for a step-back from 3-point range. He plays the game at his own pace and doesn't let himself get sped up. He continues his summer grassroots play in July with the Gateway-Knights 16U team.

Demarion Verges (Clayton): A 6'5" 2027 guard who was a big cog in the Greyhounds run the Class 4 Final Four and a berth in the state championship game. His skill level and versatility make him such a valuable player. One moment, he has the ball in his hands and facilitating offense with his playmaking ability. The next, he is in the low post jousting with an opposing big as he uses his height and length on the defensive end. He can also be disruptive on the perimeter as a defender. He is a tough cover on the offensive end with his slashing skills along with his ability to knock down a 3-pointer. He is currently playing for the [program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 17U EYCL team.
