Rising Junior Prospects To Watch

With the summer live evaluation periods complete, recruiting is starting to increase for Virginia's 2028 recruiting class. Here is a look at a group of rising junior prospects who are on the radar of college coaching staffs around the country.    Betz is a capable scorer and solid shot maker with range. He was a valuable contributor for Team Durant who qualified for Nike's Peach Jam. He can create offense off the bounce, has better than average quickness and a good feel for the game.     Another contributor to Team Durant's 16u team, Acquah is a wing with size and strength who should see a much bigger role for PVI this season. He is at his best attacking the rim at this point but is improving as a shot maker and is active on the defensive end.     The Blue Ridge School product is a strong, attacking wing who is tough to keep out of the paint. He has a unique combination of strength & explosiveness that makes him difficult to defend and able to finish through contact. He is an improving perimeter shot maker and provides value on the other end of the floor as a versatile defender.     A wing with positional size, Rohner is a capable open shot maker who can stretch the floor. The rising junior plays with a high motor, has a good feel for the game and is a willing defender.     Banks is a solid shot maker with positional size on the wing. He is an above average athlete who can finish above the rim. He has a good feel for the game and is certainly a prospect to watch in the rising junior recruiting class.
