@PrepHoopsTN MidTen Combine featured hard-working hoopers, aged 15-17 years old. For the rest of the summer, we will be featuring the campers with evaluations and measurements from the day, June 7th, 2026. This was the first time the event took place inside Smyrna High School, and they graciously hosted to perfection."

Shot creator. Nice height for a 2-guard. Still figuring out how best to use his strength. Sometimes he really takes advantage of his power and sometimes he does not use it enough. Creative enough to catch the occasional defender completely on the wrong foot. A couple of times in the drills he h

Needs to dribble more with his head up to keep an awareness of the shifting scenery. Tremendous grit. Michael hit his open shots but will always be sledding uphill when he enters the Land of the Trees. To offset the height difference in the lane MH must become a sharp "kick-passer". Knowing where his teammates are before he enters the lane will help make those options reachable when the world closes in fast on the penetrating Hornbuckle. Michael managed an impressive 3.09 second 3/4-court sprint.

High ceiling guard. Lynch III earned one coach's vote for All-Star. He showed that he could be either your lead guard or your secondary ball-handler. Lynch III must add some heft to dissuade power guards from posting him on the blocks. No glaring weaknesses. Highly skilled for a sophomore.

Holland recorded an incredibly quick shuttle (2.74). "A low center of gravity, quick footwork, and a powerful push-off are essential for minimizing time lost during turns."
Strong shoulders. Coachable. High character.

used and uses his large strides to get by most high school guards. His speed with the dribble is slightly better than average but not sizzling. Holland played every defensive possession with effort. He positioned his body appropriately and proved difficult for even the camp MVP to break down by dribble.
Holland earned All-Regional Tournament in 2025-2026.

It was a nice first impression made by Preston Sunday. His agility as a 2029 forward was solid. He can work on his agility as a fastbreak target along the sidelines. The smoothness from catch to layup can improve. In 5v5, Blake ran the floor and though he caught the outlet fine it took minor adjustments for him to collect and then get into his layup. With more reps and continued lower body workouts (for balance) he can iron out those wrinkles. Blake reached almost 8.5' standing, taller than most 6-foot-2 wings. Likewise, his hand measured slightly wider than most guards (9.0" span).

Impeccable footwork. Oglesby is a wonderful catch-and-shoot guy. His ability to get a good shot is uncanny. Ideally, he will invest this off-season in plyometric workouts in order to speed up his feet some. Just based on his height and game he is in danger of being in that college tweener spot. Yes, he will be able to score at the NAIA level by graduation, but can he defend a quick guard away from the basket? That is going to be his limiting factor, so it demands attention. Creative.

Strong frame. Long arms. Disruptive defender with his hands active. Naturally strong young man. In a post-up drill, Braylon eagerly used power to uproot the offensive player. Not shy about initiating contact. Braylon's mid-range bag lacked refinement. He was hurried and sloppy in a 1v1 scenario. The drill limited player dribbles and it clearly impacted Braylon's ability to generate a good look at the hoop. Exceptional Lage Agility (10.70 seconds, 11.20 seconds). Speed will separate him from his peers though he must tuck away some repeatable slashing moves.
