Dynamic playmaker that showed his shifty handle and elite quickness to get to whatever spot on the floor he wanted. Went on a heater late in the first half where he simply took over the game with his shotmaking as well as his on ball defense. Electric guard that gets up in the opposition full court and makes things difficult. McLaughlin holds 9 Division I offers and it was easy to see why. Smooth offensive game with elite playmaking and shooting. Makes the game look easy with the way he can get going. Sweet stroke from the perimeter that he can get into quickly. At 6'4” he has the ability to rise up off the bounce. Logan Brown is a 6'7” Wing that was an instant impact on both ends of the floor in the game I saw him. Uber athletic with a long wingspan that rebounds and defends at a high level. Runs the floor like a gazelle and made some highlight reel plays in transition. Left handed with a nice perimeter skillset. Really good getting downhill where he uses his length and size to his advantage. Really good shooter off the move. Physical big man that was comfortable playing all over the floor. Good looking jump shot with range out to the three-point line. High energy big man that can score with either hand around the basket and has nice footwork. Game changer on the defensive end of the floor. Comfortable guarding the pick and roll and is mobile enough to switch onto perimeter players and contain them. Really good rebounder and rim protector. Confident with the ball in his hands, he was able to make something out of nothing on a lot of possessions with tough shot making. Capable of scoring from all three levels, he has a quick trigger to get it off under heavy contest. Plays at his own pace, which includes a lighting quick first step and showed a nice ability to not drive too deep and stop and pop in the midrange.
