Harrison Trelc Finishes the Summer Strong, Next Up is Visits

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Following the second July live period photos were shared across social media of Emporia/SSA Elite guard Harris Trelc holding up the MVP trophy from the live period event in Kansas City. A strong July has led to Trelc earning a ton of opportunity. And it all got rolling this summer with standout games with SSA.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"The season has been going great," Harrison explained. "I love our coaches and the group of guys around me. I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else. The (top) highlight would be winning the Kansas City Bracket championship last weekend. I hope to finish out (July) on a good note with my guys and for all my teammates to reach their goals."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Trelc had explosive games shooting the basketball, and he had outstanding playmaking games. His court IQ and skills make him a versatile combo guard. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I am a scoring and playmaking guard," Harrison said. :I do not force anything and let scoring come to me and rarely take bad shots. I can play either guard spot and rebound well for a guard."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Playing in Kansas City in July, Harrison had a load of Midwest college coaches from various levels watching his games. It's led to a ton of potential opportunities at the next level:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I have offers from Ottawa and Bethany and I have been talking mainly to Rockhurst," Trelc explained. "I am going to many elite camps (with AAU season over) and I plan on going to visits to Newman and Benedictine along with those three schools I mentioned earlier."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past winter at Emporia, Harris was named second team all league and honorable mention all state. He scored 16 points a game making half of his field goal attempts plus averaged four rebounds, three assists, and two steals a contest. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
