East Coast Live Standouts: Scholarship Players that shined

The event is known for having some of the best talent and for bringing out some of the biggest-name coaches on the East Coast year after year. Amani is a very quick and aggressive guard who excels in using his speed and athleticism to get to the rim and finish through contact. He also is a high percentage shooter. What I like most about his game that will translate well to the next level is his elite defensive ability and his tenacity on the defensive side of the ball. He has an extremely high motor and never seems to stop. He has a great college-ready frame and elite athleticism, which helps him get easy baskets when attacking the rim or running in transition. He is 100% a Division 1 prospect that will be key for Petersburg moving forward, as he is their main scoring option moving forward. Pop is an excellent shooter and scorer from all 3 levels, and it will be easily translatable at the next level. He recently committed to Mount Saint Mary's, a Division 1 program. He is a physical and elite scoring guard who can light it up from beyond the arc and get to his spots with the ball in his hands or off the ball. He has a physical frame that allows him to post up smaller guards, but he finishes through contact well for his size. He is one of the best scorers in the state and has elite athleticism and a quick first step where he can hurt opposing defenses with his blow-by ability off the dribble. He is an absolute killer in the half-court; it doesn't matter who you put on him, he will find a way to score and do it at a very high rate. I've seen him score 40 points multiple times over the past few years, and he does it so effortlessly. What stands out most to me about Troy is his ability to always hunt the opposition and relentlessly try to score on anyone that's in front of him. He is one of the top scorers I've seen in high school in a very long time, and Division 1 programs are already investing in his next-level readiness.
