Combo Guards Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The CHSAA team camp showed us the vast talent level of combo guard type players in the 6”2-6”4 range. These players are all top performers and did not disappoint the coaches in attendance. They all can score the ball, defend with quickness, make impactful plays and take over games. Here are five of the many in this report. He is an extremely talented player. Lightning quick with the ball. Very smooth and confident player. He gets off his own shot. Explosive and athletic playmaker. Has the mindset to understand now his ability to take over games. Can score the ball in a variety of ways inside or out. Very athletic player. Showed good court vision. Has shown on many occasions the ability and desire to run down would be scorers. Impressed with how he read defenders and went back door. But he is dynamic off of 2-3 dribbles going one way and coming back to shoot the other. Smooth foul line jumper. A lefty who has displayed a pump fake followed by putting it on the floor and scoring at the rim. He was able to rise above all on a o/b and catch and score in one motion. Makes alot of plays in the lane. Stop and pop mid range game. He gets into his shot quickly. Extremely quick and wiry going to the rim. Really good vision in the open floor.
