The smooth lefty is back for his final year at Loughlin and he’s ready to make some noise. He will look to lead the Lions in scoring once again, he’s skilled, lanky, athletic and versatile. His consistency and energy will be key for Loughlin and if he can take that next step it will help them adds some wins. Exciting season ahead for Mr. Jackson.

He can score the ball in multiple ways, he possesses excellent footwork in creating shots. A lefty who will drive left but come back righ and shoot it with off hand. Has a smooth foul line jumper. Really good getting to the paint off of 2-3 dribbles. Has quick hands leading to steals or deflections. Saw him on a b/o/b rise up in the lane catch and convert off a lob.

Jackson led Loughlin in scoring last season, and to a certain extent, is known locally. The still 16 year old senior has taken his game to a different level over the Spring and Summer months. The rangy score is good from the midrange and in, and if he develops further consistency from the mid-range- look out.

Jackson is a bit of a sleeper and oddly is the Lions xfactor despite leading them in scoring last year. He’s a lanky wing who’s effective around the basket, in transition and in the mid range. The Lions play with a lot of pace and energy but sometimes their best offense is when they slow things down and get Jackson quality looks. His success will lift the play of others, he has defensive versatility, a good IQ and wants to help Loughlin make some noise in the playoffs.
