He knocked down 3 threes in a matchup with EYN Elite on Saturday and also had a couple of tough layups in traffic. This, along with an impressive 6'6" frame, makes Crick a very intriguing prospect and one who will debut in the next Prep Hoops Rankings Update. Crick went for 25 points and 7 rebounds on 4-5 3FG in a win over Buzzi 2x, displaying an ability to hit threes off the catch, off screens, and in the pick and pop. Elkins has had a great summer between the scholastic period and grassroots reason, and it continued into the live period with DTR. He is an efficient weapon on the outside and has shown great signs of improvement, making plays off the dribble. I only caught a half of [program_tooltip program_id='2845772' first='Hoopzters' last=''] on Saturday, but it was a very impressive half from Will, and one that has his stock trending upward. He went 5-6 from behind the arc in just 10 first-half minutes, looking confident and ready to pull the trigger whenever he had the ball. Despite coming off the bench, he was as impactful for his team as anyone, helping keep them close with efficient shooting and a couple of other offensive flashes. Auric has a very smooth stroke on the perimeter, can hit shots on the move or when set, and drives closeouts well to get to the rim or free-throw line.
