Adidas 3SSB Bryan: 2028 Shot Creators/Playmakers Steal The Show

Adidas 3SSB Session three was one of my biggest tournaments this summer and the prospects continue to stack up in my notebook. The Class of 2028 had some really efficient guards this tournament who were impressive on both sides of the ball, but the main part of their game that caught my eye was the playmaking for others and shot creating. Let's examine the games further of these three level scorers and point guards who know how to score and distribute the ball.    I found out during his games for [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] that Byrd is most effective when creating out of the paint for his teammates. His drive and dish ability is unmatched, and he uses a combo of quick and shifty dribble moves to keep defenders off balance and guessing. An underrated 6'3 guard with a strong frame allows Jayvon to score undeterred in the paint through contact and he has a smooth touch from deep on his three point shot.     [player_tooltip player_id='2548185' first='Kelvin' last='Anderson'] is a 2028 guard for Team Loaded who scores from all three levels well and crashes the glass on both ends as an underrated rebounder. He possesses a college ready frame and is efficient as a combo guard who can either play the point or spot up as a shooting threat. He puts pressure on the defense with his aggressiveness on both ends and this allows him to capitalize against mismatches both scoring the ball and creating turnovers on defense.     The part of Kenyon's game that I enjoyed watching the most was his on-ball screen action as the primary guard functioning at the point. His speed with the ball in transition makes opportunities at the basket easier due to his passing ability and court vision. He threads the needle on passes into tight spaces, and this allows his teammates to take advantage in isolation situations. He can shoot well either off the dribble or from spot up range as well.     Grayson was one of the best knockdown shooters I scouted last weekend at 3SSB, and he makes quite the difference for Tennessee Impact 16u. Burton went on several heaters in both games I watched lighting up the defense when they failed to close out properly. He picks his spots carefully and gets to them off the ball with speedy cuts and off ball screens to help him get open space to catch and shoot.
