6’11 big Logan Wallace returns to Cheney

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After spending time at a prep school, 2027 big man Logan Wallace is returning to Kansas to once again play for Cheney High School. After telling Prep Hoops Kansas "just wanted to let you know i'm back in Kansas playing for Cheney" we caught up with the 6'11 center see how 17u went and how recruiting is going! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wallace played with MPJ Elite and had a really good spring and summer season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I played on a full sponsored puma team called MPJ Elite this summer and did good," Logan explained. "I had an even better year at Phoenix Prep last year. Me and KLE are gonna win nationals this weekend then I'm gonna take me team to a state championship this year."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What does Wallace bring to Cheney High School for next season? He explained to PH what type of player he is.....</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"(I'm a) high level rim protector, high athleticism, play above the rim on offense, very high motor and (basketball) IQ," Wallace said.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Logan is the type of player that is being recruited to the next level and he broke down his current recruitment with us.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"UMKC, Creighton, Pitt State, Washburn, Central Michigan, and Portland State are the ones (recruiting me) the hardest currently," Wallace explained.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We also asked Logan if he has taken any visits and if he has any coming up:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"Yes I have. Colorado U, Missouri State, UMKC, and (I'm visiting) Newman coming up next Tuesday. Possibly Pitt State soon."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The most recent Prep Hoops Scout to analyze Wallace was Gregg Rosenburg in Arizona. He runs well from end to end and rebounds well in his area plus will alter or block shots. He will score with dunks in traffic and will give a hard pump fake to the basket.
