He's an athletic big man with good size who runs the floor well, and he's tough as nails. He loves to use his physicality to his advantage on the glass and on the defensive end, and could emerge as one of the state's elite rim protectors as early as this winter with his impeccable timing as a shot blocker.

Dreeszen is small, listed at just 5-8 as a freshman, but he's tough, talented, and has a really high basketball IQ. He handles the ball extremely well and does a great job using his handles and footwork to create some additional space to get his shot off, and he's a fantastic 3-point shooting threat off the bounce. He thrives in ball screen actions, where he can really showcase his ability to create for his teammates, turn the corner and get downhill, or step behind the screen and knock down open looks. He'll be a key player for Northwest in the coming years.

Hackney started 17 games for the Panthers, who have been one of the most consistent contenders in 2A for the last decade. His efficiency numbers weren't great (30-23-58 shooting splits), but his command of the offensive attack with the ball in his hands was beyond his years, posting a 1.51 assist-to-turnover ratio and showcasing that he can not only create quality looks for his teammates, but himself as well. As he continues to develop physically and mentally, he'll only become a more efficient, dynamic all-around offensive threat for Monticello.

Brankovic didn't get any varsity run as a freshman for the Spartans, but he'll be a huge part of the program for the next three years. He's a three-level scoring threat who can play with the ball in his hands or knock down shots off the catch. He has a high, quick release on his jumper and is supremely confident as a shooter. An active rebounder on both ends of the floor, he's a good enough ball-handler to lead the break after pulling down a defensive rebound and either get all the way to the rim or find open teammates.

Grover was one of the most productive 2029s in the state last season, leading Waterloo West in scoring at 13.4 points per game and knocking down a team-high 57 3-pointers at a 41% clip. He's a confident shooting threat off both the dribble and the catch who does a great job setting himself up for success by subtly creating a tiny bit of additional space to get his shot off. He gets the ball into his shooting pocket in the blink of an eye off the dribble and is a threat to pull from anywhere inside halfcourt. He's a skilled ball-handler and shot creator who can set his teammates up as well, dishing out 1.7 assists a game last season.
