2027 July Stock Risers

King doesn't have much room to rise in terms of the state rankings, and no matter how productive a summer he had, he wasn't going to surpass Josiah Harrington for the top spot, but in helping lead Kingdom Hoops to Nike's prestigious Peach Jam, he gained a ton of traction among college coaches and talent evaluators from all over the country. The 6-6 wing recently picked up offers from North Dakota, Northern Iowa, and South Dakota State, and there are plenty more schools keeping close tabs on him. With great positional size, three-level scoring ability, and a steadily improving ability to create off the dribble for his teammates, King's ascension into a nationally relevant prospect has officially started.     Another big-time stock riser from that Kingdom Hoops team that reached Peach Jam, McCollum was among the leading scorer down in North Augusta last week, using his elite shooting ability to routinely put up big numbers. He's a supremely confident shooting threat who can create space to get his shot off off the dribble with his handles and footwork. He holds a Division I offer from Montana State.     Sensing a theme here? Kingdom Hoops' run was the story of the summer on the Iowa grassroots circuit, and Miller delivered plenty of big moments throughout that run. He looks more confident as a shooting threat both off the dribble and the catch, and given that he's 6-4, that shooting will be needed at the next level. He has improved as a shot creator, is an active rebounder, and a lanky, agile defender. Going up against some of the best players in the country, he more than held his own.     After seeing Beswick in person at the Mount Vernon Shootout in June, it quickly became evident that he was due for a significant jump up the rankings when they are updated this fall. Then he put together a really nice July with Murray Elite in which he showcased his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He has a great frame, long arms, is a scrappy, versatile defender, and can score from all three levels. He's primed to have a huge senior year for a Hawks team that could be among the most improved in 3A, and he recently picked up a Division I offer from Western Illinois.     Wedewer is one of the toughest guards in the state, a fearless lead guard who doesn't shy away from contact, is electric in the mid-range, and outstanding at creating plays for his teammates. His size may ultimately hold his recruitment back a little more than it probably should, and he may end up at a Division III as a result, but if that's where he ends up, a Division III will get a steal of a guard who impacts the game in a big way on both ends of the floor. He was routinely great for a DCBA team that had a really nice summer.
