He has a great feel for the game, and consistently puts himself in position to be a playmaker. On offense, he was doing damage from the outside. While also making smart passes if his teammates were cutting. On defense, he locked up his matchup often. Forcing them to dish it off. He's a very skilled guard who scores with ease at times. His first and second steps are quite explosive, and defenders have a tough time slowing him down. He made trips to the free throw line frequently. He makes strong slashes to the cup, and converted on more than a few difficult finishes. Howard helped stretch the floor as well, pouring in 3's when left unmarked. He attacks the basket with a purpose, and battles for offensive boards often. He also knows when to swing the rock, and will look for his shooters. On the other end of the court, he essentially acts as a rim protector. He lets the ball go with a ton of confidence and seemed to convert on a majority of his attempts in the games I watched.
