Broyles showed he can hurt defenders in so many different ways from the perimeter, in the mid-range and at the rim. He also really showed improvement on the defensive end while making life difficult on opposing guards. His handle allowed him to consistently beat defenders off the dribble, and he proved to be a natural playmaker whenever he was on the floor. Defense was his calling card throughout the camp as he showed he could defend different guards and wings making a case as one of the better defenders in attendance. The growth in his size has been noticeable, and it's translated directly onto the floor, he's become a more reliable rim protector and a consistent rebounding presence on both ends. He showcased his pure and consistent jumper making him a tough cover for defenders. That reliability on offense made him a natural go-to option for his team, and he delivered when it mattered.
