Gibbs Summer League: Do-It-All Wings

As teams got their first chance to showcase offseason improvements, several players stood out with their versatility and ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Making his debut after transferring to Osceola following a successful three year run at Northside Christian, he looked comfortable stepping back into the go-to guy role. Ahlers consistently put pressure on the defense and should be in line for a big senior season with the Warriors. His length and athleticism make him a difficult cover when attacking downhill, allowing him to finish above the rim. His combination of size, strength, and skill makes him a matchup nightmare, and he plays with a clear goal of getting to his spots and scoring the basketball. His handle has improved significantly, allowing him to attack from the perimeter and create opportunities for teammates. Once he gets downhill, he becomes extremely difficult to contain because of his aggression and explosiveness. He constantly pressures defenses and plays with great energy.
