Williams is an athletic wing with a strong frame and the tools to make an impact on both ends of the floor. He’s been putting in work on his mechanics and ball handling, and looks to make a jump offensively for Gibbs in his senior season. Williams is already an excellent finisher around the rim, and his explosiveness and agility make him a difficult matchup for opposing defenses. He’s also continued to improve as a jump shooter, giving him another way to contribute offensively. With his combination of athleticism and two-way potential, Williams will be an important piece as Gibbs looks to establish themselves among the top teams in the Tampa Bay area once again.

Williams showcased why versatility is one of his biggest strengths. Defensively, his length allows him to guard all five positions, while offensively he impacts the game in several ways. He attacks the rim with force, rebounds at a high level on both ends, and creates second chance opportunities for his team. Williams is comfortable handling the ball, and as his jump shot continues to become more consistent, he is turning into an even more dangerous all-around player.

Williams has the length and athleticism needed to contain Brown as much as possible. Discipline will be key, as Williams must avoid reaching and stay solid defensively to remain on the floor. Offensively, he will need to create in the half court for himself and his teammates to generate enough scoring to keep pace.

Williams brought explosive athleticism to the wing spot. The 6’5 high-flyer attacked the rim aggressively and used his bounce to finish over defenders. Williams’ energy translated directly to production, earning him Player of the Game honors on Day 1 after a 15-point performance.
