As we prepare for the June period as these guys report back to their high schools, it's time to dig a little deeper and find some guys that have really performed well this Spring for their respective teams on the travel ball circuit. So many next level prospects get opportunities at all sorts of different stages within their journey. Without further delay, let's take a deeper look at some of these guys!

Holmes is a guy that operates with a high IQ to go with his natural aggression and ability to play a physical brand of basketball in the backcourt. Holmes has had a strong Spring thus far with Team Inge where he provides a ton of production for this group along with being a true connector at both ends of the floor. Holmes does a great job finishing in traffic when given the chance as he's able to play through contact. He makes good decisions as a passer off of his paint touches, looking for the dump off or kick out to the shooter when available to him. Another thing he brings to the table is his nose for the ball and ability to rebound for his size, he's consistently a 5+ rebound guy minimum as a 6'0" guard. Holmes is making a real next level case for himself and should have a strong June at Cary Christian along with finding himself amongst the ranked at our next 2027 update.

White is a skilled guard with size that is starting to showcase his game vs higher levels of competition and proving he's a more than capable next level prospect. He joined TLBA UAA 17u and helped them in the month of May with his shot-making and ability to attack the basket. White had a strong season at Hickory High School and has used the time since the season's conclusion to add strength to his frame and develop his game. He's looking like a bonafide next level guy to me and what he does from here will only determine the level. There's no doubt he has the necessary skillset, physical tools, and understanding of the game to prove that he's worthy of these opportunities.

Morning is a versatile front-court prospect that possesses a great blend of physical gifts while showing consistent flashes of skill. Morning is a guy that plays with a super high level of activity at both ends of the floor, leading to him winning 50-50 battles and getting opportunities for himself and teammates with extra possessions. His mobility and length at his size give him a ton of versatility defensively with the ability to guard multiple positions. He does a nice job finishing underneath when given the chance while also having the ability to exploit mismatches in the front-court with his ability to attack off the bounce vs slower footed bigs. There's no doubt that theres a place at the next level for Morning as he's such a useful piece that can impact the game in a variety of ways.

When you look at Frye's ability to impact a game at both ends of the floor right now along with the remaining untapped upside, it's very clear that this is a bonafide next level prospect that helps whatever team he's suiting up for in a variety of ways. Frye continues to add strength to his frame and improve his consistency as a shooter as he continues to evolve into a complete offensive weapon. Frye's size and length along with his well rounded athleticism allow him to guard multiple spots on the floor and provide some rim protection from the wing. He's really impactful in transition and continues to get stronger when competing through contact on the offensive end. Frye is continuing to ascend and it will be interesting to see where he lands in his new home in the 2028 rankings.

Dauska is one of those guys that is always in control and is a guy that has a real chance to rise in our next 2027 update. Dauska operates with a great feel for the game and a well rounded skillset at his size. For this [program_tooltip program_id='2076456' first='PSB' last='Elite'] 17u group he has been a guy that contributes in so many ways. Dauska is capable of using his strong frame to finish in traffic at the rim along with being a real threat from distance off the catch. He's a good passer from multiple areas of the floor as well as being able to showcase some high level footwork in the low/mid post. Dauska is comfortable operating in ball screens with his vision and ability to score from multiple levels. He is a bonafide next level guy and will undoubtedly get some more opportunities in the coming months.

Smith is a strong and athletic utility wing that is looking to get downhill and finish at the basket. He's got a naturally aggressive approach that coincide perfectly with his physical gifts. Smith also can make outside shots when needed and provides this group with a really dynamic defender that can guard multiple positions at a high level. He recently got his June started off with a 17 Point and 4 Rebound performance vs St. David's in a win and is really making a case for himself as a next level kind of guy. Smith's blend of motor, skill, and winning habits make him a guy that is very worthy of next level looks and I don't think it will be too much longer that he has to wait for things to start picking up a little bit.
