The GASO Pre-Live Showcase served as an important tune-up before the start of the live period, giving prospects a valuable opportunity to sharpen their game and make an impression before college coaches hit the road. With competitive matchups, talented teams, and plenty of prospects looking to build momentum, the event featured no shortage of standout performers. Whether it was established prospects reinforcing their reputation or under-the-radar players breaking out and emerging as names to know, the showcase provided a glimpse into who may be poised for a strong live-period run or showing at the upcoming TABC showcase. Here we take a look at a few of the recruits who made the strongest impressions, boosting their stock heading into one of the most important evaluation windows of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252157' first='Isaiah' last='Santos'] played with a relentless downhill mentality. No matter how many times defenders knocked him around, pushed him, or hacked him, Santo kept coming, attacking the basket with force and purpose every time he saw an opening. Once he got a shoulder past his defender, it was nearly impossible to keep him out of the paint. Santos used his impressive combination of size, strength, explosive speed, and body control to power through reaches, bumps, grabs, and hard fouls without losing focus on the finish. Defenders often threw multiple bodies at him, yet he consistently converted through contact, absorbing hits, maintaining balance, and finishing at the rim with remarkable ease. Just as impressive as his physical gifts was his demeanor. He never allowed himself to be rattled by physical play or frustrated by missed calls, showing no bad body language and immediately moving on to the next possession. Whether Santos was getting hacked on a drive, knocked off his line, or forced to finish through traffic, he remained composed and unfazed. His mental toughness paired with his overwhelming athleticism made him a dominant two-way force who relentlessly pressured defenses while maintaining the poise and maturity of a college-ready prospect.

Avery Huston was a quick reactor with crafty, instinctive counter moves. His quick-twitch explosiveness could not be contained along the baseline, taking flight off two feet before hammering home dunks or hanging and contorting around defenders at the rim. Huston's stop-and-pop mid-range jumper around the elbows was pure and polished, displaying a great understanding of when to lean, fade, or create separation. Huston showcased quick right-left footwork and used hard dribbles to get defenders off balance before rising comfortably into pull-up jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='3666061' first='Vijay' last='Keshaav'] has multiple pockets and windows he can shoot from, needing only a glimpse of the rim to get his shot off and in. When possessions seemed dead, he relied on pivots, subtle head fakes, and quick elevation to create space and score even in tight corners. His pull-up game was especially dangerous because of its unpredictability, fluidly flowing from crossover to shooting motion without hesitation. One thing that truly separates Keshaav from other bucket getters is his ability to make contested shots efficiently, a trait that projects extremely well to the next level whether he operates as a primary scorer or perimeter shooter. His athleticism at this stage of his development is remarkable, not only is he already finishing above the rim easily, but he continues raising the degree of difficulty, even flushing a near fully extended windmill in the open floor. One of the biggest stock risers of the weekend, Keshaav showed why he's among the top scorers on the EYBL circuit as he carried the scoring load game after game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3678396' first='Kaden' last='Brown'] displayed a sharp change of direction using between-the-legs dribbles and push crosses, stopping on a dime and shifting gears with ease. He excelled when creating his own shot off the bounce, consistently finding ways to get the ball back to his strong left hand. Brown showcased knockdown deep pull-up jumper, displaying comfort letting it fly from college range. If defenders dropped below the perimeter, Brown shot it immediately with no hesitation. If they stepped up to stop the ball, Brown remained poised, pausing before making a hard move and attacking the basket.

This bucket-getting guard wasted no time once the ball touched his hands. He immediately went to work, operating with purpose and feel while hunting for his scoring spots where his pull-up game was most deadly. What made Mata so effective was his ability to score within the flow of the offense while still maintaining an aggressive mindset. Mata understood pacing, knew when to accelerate, and possessed the shot-making instincts to capitalize whenever defenders gave him an opening. His scoring approach was calculated and efficient, allowing him to put points on the board in bunches without needing a high volume of dribbles or wasted movement. Every touch felt purposeful, and every possession carried the potential for a bucket.
