Several prospects made the most of their opportunity on Friday night, turning in performances that undoubtedly boosted their recruiting stock. Here are the players who elevated their game and caught the attention of college coaches during the opening day of the HoopSeen High School Finale.

Kakabi is a multi sport athlete that excels on the basketball floor as well as the football field. The size of a division one tight-end he brings a ton of physicality to the basketball court. He is a versatile big that can play the 4 or 5 and is a good decision maker when he is the primary ball handler in dribble handoff situations. Greenbrier runs a lot of zooms and away hand offs to spring open their quick guards and Kakabi does a great job of keeping that style of offense fluid. When it comes to his offensive skillset he is a patient low post scorer who can fill it up from the block using head fakes and step throughs to score with ease using his brute force to hold defenders off. He also adds extreme value on the offensive glass, giving his team second and third chance opportunities to create more offensive possessions. Greenbrier has a legit prospect on their hands and the scary thing for opposing teams is he has three years of high school basketball left.

Moses is a dynamic athlete that offers a lot of value to the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively he is ultra quick in transition going coast to coast to score with ease and provide early offense for his Greenbrier team. In the half court he has a solid dribble drive game that makes him a dangerous slasher and puts pressure on interior defenses. He does a great job of getting paint touches, playing off two, and finding open shooters on the perimeter as well. All around he plays with a super high motor and is a relentless competitor. Rare for the lead guard spot, Moses crashes the offensive glass with a reckless abandon and is a main contributor to Greenbriers ability to get twenty to twenty five offensive rebounds a game. Defensively he is just as efficient with the ability to guard multiple positions and stay in front of the basketball. A dynamic slept on prospect in the 2027 class who should play college basketball.

Nanuwa is a winner in every sense of the word from the guard spot. He can play multiple roles in the backcourt and be very good in both spots. As a lead guard he does an awesome job of pushing the pace in transition and finding open teammates on advantage breaks towards the rim. In the half court he is a dynamic scorer off the ball as a two guard is a perimeter threat to knockdown the three ball at a high level and provide offense getting to the rim, often times finishing off two or kicking out to wide open shooters. Nanuwa was truly one of my favorite guards I watched all night because of the way he plays, is coachable, and communicates on both ends. A prospect I would be very high on over the next year if I was a college coach.

Dye is an intriguing guard who adds a ton of value as both a primary ball handler and an off-the-ball floor spacer with his ability to shoot it from deep. Dye knocked down several high-level catch-and-shoot threes over the course of two games on Friday night, showing a ton of confidence in his ability to score. He can change the course of a game and jump-start an offense with his ability to get to the cup in transition and light you up in a hurry from beyond the arc. He also plays with great pace, rarely forcing the action, and consistently makes the right read when defenses begin to key in on him. As he continues to develop physically and expand his all-around game, Dye has the skill set to become a very valuable backcourt piece for the next level.
