Young freshman making their presence felt early looked poised and confident during their first taste of GHSA Live action. Despite being new to the stage, they played with composure and showed they belonged among the competition. Their ability to adjust to the pace, intensity, and physicality stood out, giving a glimpse of what they can bring moving forward.    Deuce looked comfortable adapting to the physical nature of the game, showing strong poise and patience throughout his minutes. He played well off two feet, made composed decisions, and never allowed the defense to speed him up. Overall, he put together a strong showing, displaying confidence as a scorer while knocking down shots from deep during the period.     Although he may not have the biggest frame, he played with confidence, competitiveness, and a high-level understanding of the game. A skilled young guard with a polished feel, he displayed a reliable outside shot and the ability to make plays within the half-court offense. He showed patience, awareness, and the ability to read the floor, always making the right decisions and finding quality opportunities. His instincts, vision, and overall feel for the game were advanced for his age.     Quick young guard with a high motor who excels in the open floor and plays with a constant attack mentality. He uses his quickness, agility, and ability to change gears to slip through tight windows and create easy scoring opportunities at the rim. His ability to push the pace and put pressure on defenders makes him a tough cover. With continued development and more game reps, he is a prospect continuing to rise.     Haynes is a powerful, physical athlete who does a great job capitalizing on defensive mistakes with a quick burst off the bounce. He excels when playing downhill, especially in transition, where his strength and athleticism allow him to absorb contact and complete plays. He brings a relentless motor and plays with a level of intensity that elevates the energy of those around him.     Jacody continues to stand out as one of the premier athletes in the state, showcasing rare explosiveness and bounce that immediately changes the game. On the defensive end, he's elevating his presence, playing with greater focus, activity, and consistency. Offensively, he's growing more confident operating in the mid-range area and handling the ball in space. He is at his most dangerous in transition, where he runs the floor hard, fills lanes with purpose, and finishes plays above the rim with ease.     Claybrooks is playing with elite confidence as a scorer, finding his rhythm early and maintaining it throughout the live period. He showed strong instincts in the passing lanes, turning defense into offense while also setting others up in flow. Offensively, he was highly efficient, knocking down shots off the catch and punishing defenders with pull-ups off the dribble. He continues to separate himself as one of the premier guards in the state, regardless of classification, and keeps proving it with consistent production.
