Those familiar with his game are not surprised at his immediate production on the court and there is excitement around his return. He sports a complete game and a tough mentality to match it making him one of the toughest competitors in the state. Be on the lookout for this big-time player on the hardwood.

Wilson took the summer league to remind those around the state that he is a top prospect in the state. He is a long wing with great basketball instincts and skills to match. He is a smart player with the ability to knock down the long ball. He is a natural scorer that is not even scratching the surface on his game. Look for Wilson to lead Rayville this upcoming season.

Williams is playing big and looks to be back to his freshman ways in controlling the boards. Wossman will lean on him this season to do a lot of work in the paint, and he looks ready to accept the challenge. He is an agile post with a soft touch on either side of the goal. Wossman will spread out their offense this season, and Williams is poised to put up impressive numbers.

Nard returns as PG1, but he is not alone. The Evangel guard lineup is impressive, and Nard looks to lead the group with his tough style of play and pinpoint passing abilities. His natural tendency is to facilitate, but when he is in scoring mode that is when you can see all the young guard can do on the court. Evangel is going to be a sleeper team because they lack the size normally associated with 5A programs, but Nard locks in on the intangibles to lead a group that could shock any team. Coaches looking for a high IQ guard need to check Nard and his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2556321' first='Jason' last='Webster'] is new to the Louisiana scene but comes in as a next level post prospect. He is an easy 6'7 and does exactly what post players are supposed to do. He rim runs, protects the paint and rebounds at a high level. His length and athleticism is going to frustrate teams and adding his size to a scrappy Shreve team could see them make another deep run in the next hoop season. Webster adds another problem to solve at Shreve.

As these athletes continue to hone their skills and lead their respective programs, the upcoming season promises high-level competition and breakout performances. Whether it is elite guard play facilitating the offense or dominant post presences controlling the paint, these five prospects represent some of the most exciting talent Louisiana has to offer. Keep a close eye on their progress as they push their teams toward deep postseason runs and solidify their recruitment profiles.
