Barr-Reeve Summer Shootout | New Faces Standouts

In the two games I saw of him, he got more comfortable and was a big impact on the offensive end scoring in a variety of different ways. Plays with good pace. Aggressive getting downhill to his right and balancing scoring and facilitating for teammates. Several occasions drove baseline and found open shooters in the opposite corner. Left handed shooter that was able to knock down several catch and shoot 3's in the games I saw of him. Whitehead showed he's an excellent cutter off the ball and able to make split decisions after the catch when the help comes. At 6'3”, Pinkston was able to make some impressive passes being able to see over the defense. A lead guard that can impact the game without scoring. He thrives in transition where he was really good with the advance pass and would cut off it and make play. Knocked down several 3's in the two games that I see. Smooth jumper that gets plenty of rotation. Smooth left handed scoring wing that got going in a hurry in the Cougars win over Gibson Southern. Knocked down handful of 3's off the catch. Was always ready to shoot when the ball got swung to him. Also showed his ability to put the ball on the floor and create for himself hitting a couple turnaround jumpers in the lane. Has the potential to be a really good defender. Fluid athlete with good instincts and a knack for the ball. Lightning quick guard that made plays on both ends of the floor. Excellent passer that set up teammates while also showing off his creativity getting in the lane and finishing with either hand.
