The annual Big Shots Rock the Rock with Paul Biancardi in Rock Hill brought together many of the top names from across the Southeast, but it also created an opportunity for several unranked prospects to raise their stock. Throughout the weekend, a number of under-the-radar players stepped up with productive performances, competitive play, and flashes of long-term upside against strong competition. As the travel season continues to heat up, these are some of the unranked prospects that made the biggest impression during the event.

Leading off my list of Unranked Prospects who Shined at the Big Shots Rock the Rock with Paul Biancardi is [player_tooltip player_id='3635636' first='Rex' last='Reiser']. Reiser is an off-the-radar player because of his age and school, but if he continues to play as he did in Rock Hill this weekend, it will be hard to miss how good he is. I watched Reiser and [program_tooltip program_id='2231960' first='Big' last='Shots SC'] Premier's matchup with 3SSB's Game Elite on day one, and although they were outmatched from a team perspective, Rex was one who didn't look out of place on the floor against elite competition. He had team highs in points (11) and assists (4), showing an ability to shoot off the catch or the dribble, handle, pass, and finish with either hand, and see passing lanes at a high level.

Braylon's name was one I was familiar with coming into the weekend, but he was a pleasant surprise off the bench for Southern Kings in their game two win over SC Elite Family. Fuller brought two-way energy and rebounding as soon as he was inserted into the game, but as it got more open in the second half, there were more driving lanes for him to get to the cup and score himself. Braylon isn't shy to get on the floor for loose balls and mix it up in the paint with bigger players, but he is also skilled enough to play off two feet at the rim and pull up in his spots in the mid-range. Fuller finished with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in the win.

Keeping it in the CSRA, South Aiken's [player_tooltip player_id='3635650' first='Bryce' last='Lewis'] was an unranked prospect who shined at the Big Shots Rock the Rock with Paul Biancardi. Bryce is the top shooter on this Dunkman Elite squad, and one of the reasons why he makes this list is because he knocked down three threes in a win over Team USC Premier. He went on to finish with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, so although the shooting was important, he did more than just that. Lewis also had a few very creative buckets in transition, and he typically made the right play as far as passing or scoring when he put the ball on the floor.

Another Dunkman Elite guard who impressed in Rock Hill is Evans. Despite only being listed at 5'9", he is a very physically imposing guard compared to his peers. This is because of an incredibly strong frame that features thick shoulders and a strong base, which helps him play through contact offensively and hold up against different types of matchups defensively. Alex had some success using his physicality to get into the paint in a matchup with USC Premier, and once he was there, he balanced finishing and dishing to teammates to keep the defense off balance. Knowing the brand of basketball that North Augusta likes to play, don't expect this to be the last you hear of [player_tooltip player_id='2560587' first='Alex' last='Evans'].

Carsen is such an under-the-radar prospect that it was hard to find anything on him across social media. However, this was my second time watching him this spring, and he caught my eye in both games. This weekend, I watched him go up against 3SSB's GarnerRoad, and he was one of the most skilled players on the court. McKenney brings excellent shooting and passing to the offensive end of the floor, which means he's a guy defenses must worry about inside-out. He likes to trail the ball in transition, looking to find his hot spot from three at the top of the key. He can also throw quick hit-ahead passes in transition, or will run a high-low action with his more athletic frontcourt mates working close to the rim.
