A prospect who attended the Prep Hoops Sophomore Showcase a while back, Balcomb is a bouncy wing who has a lot of highlights of himself playing above the rim. With an impressive vertical and a high release point on his jumper, Balcomb can make shots over smaller defenders. After playing at GlenOak as an underclassman, Balcomb transferred to Louisville where he was a star player for the Leopards last season. Look for Balcomb to continue to pop up on highlight videos from around the Canton area and these should help him get onto some college radars.

We've added a handful of Jones NW Ohio grassroots teammates to our rankings and he's the next player to spotlight. A Swiss army knife wing prospect, Jones can do a little bit of everything on the court. Jones is a crucial returning piece for an Allen East squad that has been approaching the 15 win mark over the past few seasons but have not been able to break through. An under the radar group out of NW Ohio, I could see Allen East surprising some people next season.

A prospect who got on our radar early thanks to strong performances with [program_tooltip program_id='2078667' first='TNBA' last=''] and at our sophomore ID camp, Arnold suffered a serious knee injury last May that has had him sidelined. When he was healthy, Arnold was a versatile wing who could play above the rim, was a high IQ player and smart connector piece. Hoping to see Arnold back on the court soon at the level he was at before the injury. A prospect who should get a shot to play at the next level if he so chooses to!

A player who has surprised me this summer, Ross has been one of the top contributors for his Midwest Pumas squad thanks to his length, slashing ability and positional size. When you take a look at Ross in layup lines you see an athlete that should be playing at the next level and his production has started to match that talent. Moving from Westerville Central to Bishop Ready should open up more opportunities for Ross to shine as a scorer on a winning program. He's getting experience playing next to Silver Knights point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2125756' first='Michael' last='Daniels'] at the grassroots level, which should allow them to hit the ground running in June.

Mostert is a player I could see taking a big leap as a senior, thanks to the work he's been putting in this summer. Mostert has had some big weekends shooting the basketball for his Midwest Pumas squad and he's got a pair of offers from schools in Florida due to his perimeter shooting ability at his size. Mostert was efficient as a scorer last season for Teays Valley, making 45% of his field goals and almost 40% of his 3-pointers. Expect to see Mostert take up more volume for Teays Valley in the winter.
