The PNW Spring Classic took place this past weekend at Clackamas Community College and we had the opportunity to drop by on Sunday to watch some of the action, at each of the 17U, 16U, and 15U levels. Here's a quick look at some of the top performers we saw from the Class of 2029.

When the game got closer, it was Hopkins-McGlothen that stepped up big. The Benson freshman made big play after big play down the stretch, whether it was getting the bucket himself or finding an open teammate, as the Portland Boyz Elite 16U nabbed another W. His lefty pull-up jumper is super smooth and his feel for the game is definitely advanced for his age.

Getting the day off to a fast start in the morning for the Portland Boyz Elite 16U was Hardt. The 6-foot-8 Southridge freshman was huge inside, converting at a high percentage with a super soft touch. The big man wasn't around of getting physical and held his ground on D too. Unlike many young bigs who feel they have to prove themselves on the perimeter, Hardt was more than willing to set up shop down low and fight for position.

It wasn't falling early in the two games we watched Ainsworth play but shooters shoot and that's what he is. The Marshfield freshman would get one to fall and then the silky smooth lefty stroke started to hit all net. Some athletic forays to the basket as well as he helped lead the Portland Boyz to wins in both their games in Sunday.

Some instant offensive scoring punch from Donnelly in the morning for the Portland Boyz Elite 16U as the West Salem freshman came into the game and immediately went to work, getting physical and attacking the hoop for some buckets through contact. At 6-foot-5 with good size and athleticism, he's a matchup nightmare for defenders with his ability to score both inside and out as well as with how well he runs the floor.

There is no question that Cogan is one of the highest flying athletes not only in the Class of 2029, but the entire state. The Grant freshman swingman threw down some serious rim-rattling jams in transition and flew around for some impressive shot rejections at the rim at the PNW Spring Classic, but also capably knocked down some jumpers as well. He's an extremely intriguing prospect with his natural athleticism and offensive potential on the wing.

The more we watch Hemphill the more we feel he's one of the top shooters/scorers in the Class of 2029. Sweet shooting on Sunday from the Oregon City freshman, playing up at 17U with HC Elite, draining jumpers from the perimeter both off the catch and the dribble, tallying 22 points while hitting 5-6 from deep.

One of the more underrated players in the Class of 2029 to keep an eye on is Singh, who was not only one of the top scorers in all of the 15U division at 16 points per game but helped lead his City Red squad to an undefeated 5-0 record. The Sunset freshman has good quickness and is a shifty scorer, and will only continue to be even more effective as he develops physically.
