NXTPRO Initial Standouts in Kansas City

Rece has gotten out in transition and thrown down multiple dunks to really showcase elite bounce. Hobbs has a knack for finishing at the rim and provides a spark with both his footwork and ball handling. Phillips has show an ability to put constant pressure on the defense with his ability to blow by perimeter defenders. He not only has a quick first step, but also plays under control once in the paint. At 6'2", he can guard a number of different positions while also showing solid athleticism in the open floor. Jackson is phenomenal on the break, showing an ability to push the ball himself or breakaway on the wing for easy transition looks. The freshman shows supreme athleticism to go along with strong ball handling skills. Dyson has been the primary ball handler for his Missouri Flight team and for good reason. He possesses an extremely high basketball IQ to go along with tremendous court vision. His tight handle while initiating offense has been on display early and often in Kansas City. The first thing that comes to mind when describing his play so far has been his motor. The sophomore has been all over the court, tracking down loose balls and long rebounds. Offensively, he has a quick first step and is at his best when getting the the rim.
