In anticipation of the May Live Period, these 16u prospects put on incredible performances over the weekend:

Jamarion Chaney | 6'8 F 2028 Local Legends

Chaney is an intriguing athlete, dripping with the prototypical physical tools of a havoc-creating wing with the bunnies and twitch to match. He skied above everyone else for rebounds and covered a ton of ground to alter shots. On one possession, Chaney rotated from the right elbow to pin a shot on the left side of the backboard, in a split second. He also showed some offensive processing ability on a few passing reads.

Cam Hummel | 6'5 W/F 2028 FGB 904

The final box score didn't show it, but Hummel had an outsized impact on the win over DCH. On top of his rebounds and steals, he also walled up versus drivers, deflected passes, and tipped the ball back outside on missed shots. Hummel contributed on the scoreboard too, setting screens, rolling and cutting. Finally, with the game tied and his PG being blitzed, Hummel flashed to the hoop and made the game-winning layup. 10p 5r 2s

Tayton Obsuth | 6'2 G 2028 FGB 904

All the way from St. Augustine, Fl., Obsuth had his finger on the pulse of the DCH game every step of the way. Whenever his opponents tried to get momentum, he immediately responded with a steal, a big shot, or by making a play for someone else; first to build his team's lead and then to halt any possibility of a comeback win. Late in the second half, he cashed his second and third threes to give his crew a boost before ultimately winning the game. 20p 5r 3a

Helping drive the boat for his 16U squad, Robinson illustrated some on-ball scoring ability. He got going with a pair of threes, followed by a pocket pass in pick-and-roll. He chipped in on the boards too with a couple putbacks. But down double-digits in the second half, Robinson's functional handle and shotmaking came back to the fore. He drove to the hoop for a scoop finish and drilled three more jumpers from downtown to give his team a chance to win late. 21p, 4r, 3a 2s

[player_tooltip player_id='3634816' first='Landon' last='Victory'] | 6'5 F 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='3046395' first='Delaware' last='Certified Hoopers']

Victory looked like he was playing a different sport than everyone else the way he contested shots in the paint and plucked the ball out of the air for rebounds. He didn't care about scoring; he just hunted misses off the glass and made sure FGB 904 didn't get easy looks inside. So when he did get buckets, it was primarily on putbacks. However, Victory also found success on-the-move by diving and cutting to the rim. 14p 13r 2b
