NHR State Tournament Night One Recap: 14U-15U Standouts

Friday night served as an introduction with players showing off all their skills in order to carry their teams to victory. The guard was able to knock down threes from all over the floor playing a key role in Fullcourt's success. With good size Pouncil can score inside as well, driving to the rim with authority. The forward also plays strong defense in the front court, defending the paint and contesting shots in the paint. On the glass Roelike excels as well, grabbing a number of key boards for the Heat. On the glass Berry can pull down rebounds with ease, boxing out opponents and winning down low. On offense Berry is physical in the paint driving to the rim and scoring on multiple occasions. The small forward has speed as well putting on a nice spin move to score in the paint. Hanson can hit the three ball with easy using a high arcing clean shot to score from beyond the arc. The guard can use his smaller stature and speed to get open creating space to get clean looks and put up points with a confident jump shot.
