Havoc in the Heartland 2026: All Tournament 1st Team 15u

This is your Havoc in the Heartland All Tournament 1st Team. Enjoy!!    Corbin is a physical player who literally does everything for Team Progeny 15u-2. When the team needed scoring, Corbin gave it to them. If they needed a crucial rebound, he battled for it. When a play needed to be made on defense, Corbin made it happen. He's a strong low post player who used his size and strength to be an effective presence in the paint. Whenever he established a position in the post, more than likely it led to points. Corbin was great at working the offensive glass and scoring put-backs around the basket. He also showed the ability to knock down mid or long range jump-shots when given the opportunity. Corbin is an outstanding interior post defender. I watched him block multiple shots and protect the paint during the duration of the game. Corbin is a great all around player who is destined to be successful.      After watching this young man play, I quickly recognized who was the team's best shooter. Finn excelled at finding ways to get his shot off. Whether it was staying in constant motion, running around player screens, creating his own shots or having plays run for him, Finn was a problem for the opposing team. There was a sequence during the game, when Finn caught fire. He knocked down two consecutive threes and energized his [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] 15u NXT Pro teammates. Occasionally, he attacked the paint and scored lay-ups at the rim. When the game was over, I viewed him more as a shooter than a slasher. In my opinion, Finn has a weapon that all coaches want on their team. A great shooter!     Andrew showed his overall skills as a rebounder and scorer. He effectively rebounded the basketball on both ends of the court. Andrew attacked the glass with as much ferocity as he did when he looked to score. He's a good ball handler who showed a knack for making the right play. Andrew is an excellent passer who often found teammates in scoring positions. He scored in a variety of ways throughout the game. Andrew attacked the basket, scored in the post and knocked down mid-range jump-shots. Defensively, he forced turnovers by pressuring opponents into mistakes. In some instances, he defended smaller players on the perimeter. Andrew is an excellent scorer and defender. With continued growth and maturity, he could become even greater.     This young man was the team's “glue guy.” Paul is an excellent rebounder who crashed the boards on both ends of the court. He led his team in rebounds, steals and hustle plays. I really had an appreciation for the intensity he showed on the basketball court. Paul literally fought for every rebound like it was his last. Whenever his teammates missed shots, he was in the paint rebounding and scoring offensive put-backs. On numerous occasions, Paul showed the ability to make shots on the perimeter. When the team had opportunities to score transition baskets, he proved to be a great finisher. In my opinion, Paul was the best defensive player on the floor. He blocked a shot, grabbed defensive rebounds, forced turnovers and defended every area of the basketball court. Paul is a good all around player who I expect to have a major jump during the high school basketball season this fall.     ArReayon is a shifty combo guard who is capable of being a scorer or facilitator. In Saturday's match-up against [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] 15u NXT Pro , he made an instant impact when he came off the bench. The play of ArReayon instantly energized his teammates. Especially, when he knocked down a three-pointer. He got fired up which prompted other Fire Club Basketball 15u players to do the same. He's also a play-maker. Most of the passes he dished out led to positive outcomes for the team. ArReayon showed great leadership by being a vocal leader on the court. In some instances, he attacked the paint and finished with tough lay-ups at the basket. No matter what obstacles stood in front of him, ArReayon finished the game strong. He played great defense throughout the game. This led to him forcing numerous turnovers. In my opinion, ArReayon is skilled enough to play a vital role to the teams' success this summer.     Evan is a shot maker! He's a good ball handler who easily gets around defenders and makes things happen. Evan is a legit shooter who was never afraid of looking for his shot. He knocked down multiple threes, attacked the basket and found ways of dishing out assists to his teammates. There was a moment in the game when Evan used a great step-back move to free himself for an open look at the basket. This allowed him to knock down a jump-shot despite being closely defended. When [program_tooltip program_id='2287635' first='Indy' last='Hoops Academy'] 15u had an opportunity to push the pace up-court, Evan showed the ability to finish strong in transition. Defensively, he used quick hands and great footwork to be a problem for opposing guards. Evan is an excellent player who has the opportunity of becoming greater as he continues to grow and mature.     Corey is the type of player who makes all the hustle plays for his Progeny 15u-1. I watched a young man who gave maximum effort in helping his team win. He's a great rebounder who attacked the boards on both ends of the court. Offensively, Corey scored tough baskets through contact. These scores often sent him to the foul-line. He calmly stepped up and completed three-point plays on numerous occasions. Whenever Progeny 15u-1 ran the court, Corey made it a point to finished strong at the rim. He made all the intangible plays such as chasing down loose balls, setting screens and playing defense. Corey was great at blocking shots and protecting the paint. He's a defensive presence who makes scoring difficult for the opposition. Corey is a good all around player and a big-time difference maker.     Camdyn is a shooter! He's the type of player who catches fire once he sees a shot go down. In the game against Progeny 15u-1, there was a sequence in the game where he knocked down two consecutive threes. Until that point in the game, Camdyn was quiet offensively. Those consecutive baskets jump-started his scoring. From that point on, he attacked the basket and used teammate screens to get open along the perimeter. When [program_tooltip program_id='3599658' first='Grand' last='Park Premier 2029 White'] had scoring opportunities in transition, Camdyn showed he could finish strong. He finished the game with five three-pointers. On defense, he gave maximum effort by staying with his opponent and applying pressure on the ball. Camdyn is a great shooter and scoring threat. I expect him to have a great summer this AAU season.
