Saturday afternoon had many standout performances in the 13u group tournament. Here are the 7 standout players that came to play today.    Colton looked like a man amongst boys in his dominant performances over [program_tooltip program_id='2076031' first='Wisconsin' last='Hoops Select'] and FVV Elite this afternoon. In his first game, he came off the bench and showed he could make an immediate impact. He collected 4 and one opportunity in the game and cashed in on all of them. He also used his height to his advantage, being able to dominate the paint on both offense and defense. In his second game, he continued to dominate by grabbing hard rebounds and blocking shots. He finished the day having a double-double in both his games.     Gundlach showed impressive consistency on the boards across his two games today. He grabbed them with a mix of hustle, timing, and physicality to help give his team some fire. When he wasn't rebounding, he was running the floor to create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Whether pulling down tough defensive rebounds in traffic or securing offensive boards to spark second‑chance opportunities, his presence around the glass made a clear impact and highlighted his growing instincts as a reliable rebounder.     Don't let his size fool you, this kid plays with passion. In a lopsided match against The Dogs basketball co, Teddy crashed the glass hard, grabbing 6 rebounds in the first 5 minutes of the game, with 4 of those being offensive. He was also able to score with ease, being able to drive and finish hard contact layups. Even with all his inside game, he also knocked down a pair of threes to top off his amazing performance. His mix of toughness, awareness, and skill made him one of the most reliable contributors on the floor, showing how effective a player can be when they combine hustle with fundamentals.     Wyatt was unstoppable today, putting up a 20-point performance in his first game. Despite coming off the bench, he showed his scoring abilities from driving to the hoop and making layups to hitting threes. When he was drawing all the attention on offense, he stayed calm and was able to make off-hand passes to his open teammates, which they scored on. His ability to both attack the basket and elevate the play of everyone around him made him a steady, reliable presence on the court.     Hayes had a huge offensive game against Club 52. He was able to break away from defenders and get easy layup opportunities and knock down free throws. He also guarded his assignment with passion and competitiveness. His scrappiness on defense is what helped his team come together and work out a hard-fought win. He noticed mismatches and took advantage of them, whether it led to him scoring or finding an open teammate.     Brady was a monster in his team's lopsided win against MTXE Premier. He was one of three players on his team to score double-digit points in the first half, and did not let up in the second half. He finished with 17 points after only playing 8 minutes in the second half due to the score. Despite that, he showed he can be a reliable go-to option with his confidence and skill.     An explosive young guard, Emmett showed he has all the tools to be a main ball handler and go-to guy on any team. He played with the perfect blend of scoring and playmaking this afternoon dishing out multiple fastbreak and half court possessions, while also being able to qucikly drive to the hoop and score layups. Emmett was the second of three double digit scorers in his game against MTXE Premier while also racking up 8 assists in the game. He showed how comfortable he can be while handling the ball and know when to stop and control the offense.
