Emmett Consela was the definition of a knockdown shooter at the Tune Up this past weekend. He has an excellent understanding of spacing and consistently puts himself in great positions on the floor for catch-and-shoot opportunities. Emmett always has his hands ready and his feet set, allowing for a smooth, repeatable release. He shot the three-ball exceptionally well throughout the tournament, but he also made an impact on the glass with his 5’9″ frame and contributed defensively with the energy, passion, and motor he brings on every possession.

Emmett is a player who just makes the game of basketball look so easy with the way he plays. His ability to get past defenders and make pull-up midranges shows how ready a player like him is at a young age. He can also create for himself off the ball by getting screens and getting open. His ball handling is underrated and is what got him some open looks from three, which he cashed in on. He is a very solid player, and it’s only up from here for him.
