We already highlighted some newly added wings and posts to know in this 2028 class, but let's focus in on some wing and post talent residing on the east side of the state. These five players have really caught my eye this year, both ending the high school season strong and continuing their standout play into the AAU season. Make sure to get out and see these Eastern Washington standouts this spring.

Smith put together a pretty outstanding sophomore season at Medical Lake, and in a few events this spring, he's showcased a real ability to score the ball. It starts with his outside shooting at 6-foot-6, but he also has some strength that helps him battle inside and score off the bounce. I'll be interested to see how he matures physically because he already displays a lot of technical ability.

Knell is still a newish name to me, having just seen him at the WIBCA Showcase in April. He's a kid who has some decent length and is just a kid who seems to be in on a lot of plays. He has good reactions, positions himself well, has some wiry strength to compete on the glass, and is a constant competitor.

Nagra has been biding his time at Gonzaga Prep the past two seasons, and it feel like this spring and summer should be the build up to a big winter season for him. He's showing some better ability to create off the bounce and score from different spots, while getting a little more consistency from his outside shot.

Durgan is already a pretty solidly built forward who is another player who should step into some bigger minutes next season. He does a good job scoring when he catches off of cuts or flashes, when he can catch in an athletic position and get to work. He's also shown he can knock down shots from outside, and he could be a pretty impactful player this winter if he can continue to build his confidence with some solid play this spring.

The Ferris forward has continued to get stronger and assert more control with his post touches. He has great touch on his jumper and can score in a variety of ways within 15 feet. He's shown some solid footwork that, combined with his added strength, has opened up more ways to score, and he finishes well with both hands.
