2027 Rankings Update: Class 3A and 4A Newcomer Wings and Bigs

A long, skilled wing who can score inside and out, Werner is willing to take smaller defenders onto the block and use his size advantage to score, but he's also capable of creating off the dribble and getting to the rim against slower-footed defenders. He knocked down 32% of his 3-point attempts last season, a number that can certainly improve, but shows that he's a capable shooting threat whose shot needs to be respected. He put up 12.0 points and 2.9 rebounds a game as a junior for the Bluejays.     A three-level scoring wing with good size, Rickers averaged 12.1 points on 45-38-80 shooting splits as a junior for the Riverhawks. He's a capable ball-handler and secondary playmaker, but he's best when he's using his size to shoot over defenders.     Manson is coming off a solid junior year for the Scarlets, averaging 7.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 45% from the floor. He's a long, athletic wing who can be a solid on-ball defender.     Einwalter plays bigger than his listed 6-2, using his strength and athleticism to carve out space around the bucket, finish around the rim, and pound the offensive glass. He averaged 2 offensive rebounds a game as a junior for the Spartans, and he sees the floor well out of the post area, dishing out 1.6 assists per game as a junior.     Darrah didn't put up big numbers as a junior - 4.9 points, 2.9 rebounds - but his length and athleticism make him an intriguing player who could break out as a senior.     A strong forward who can control the glass on both ends of the floor, Wheeler averaged 4.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Go-Hawks as a junior. He makes strong contact on his box outs and is a physical interior presence.     Rieck didn't have big numbers as a junior - 1.9 points, 1.6 rebounds - but he's an efficient wing with good size, length, and a non-stop motor. He could be a breakout candidate as a senior.     Another intriguing wing because of his size and length combination, Foust is also interesting because he shot it at a really high level as a junior, knocking down 47.9% of his 3-point attempts. If he can improve as a playmaker, he could skyrocket up the rankings in his senior year.     A long, athletic wing who finishes well at the rim, Valenta averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds a game as a junior for the Mustangs, and should step into a much bigger role as a senior following a number of graduations.     Claussen-Tubbs is undersized, but extremely productive for the Blue Raiders, averaging 8.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game on 62% shooting. He plays hard, has great hands, and isn't afraid to throw his weight around.     Another intriguing player who could see his stock skyrocket as a senior, DuBay is 6-6, mobile, and strong on the glass, averaging 6.4 rebounds per game as a junior to go with 7.7 points.     James started every game for the Trojans and was productive, averaging 6.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists on 58% shooting. He's a good athlete who competes hard on the glass on both ends of the floor.
