We at Prep Hoops VA recently updated our 2027 rankings, expanding over 150 prospects who we feel are ones to watch in the junior class. Here's a look at part two of the wing prospects from the Richmond area in the rankings.

#128) [player_tooltip player_id='3571372' first='Devin' last='Butler'] | 6'2” SG | Manchester

Butler was a big part of Manchester being one of the top teams in the Richmond area this year, as he was a two impact player who found ways to be impactful on both ends of the floor for them. The 6'2” off guard plays with great energy as he thrives in the open floor and is willing to set the tone defensively with his ability to both pressure the ball and jump passing lanes in help, he can play on and off the ball and makes plays offensively for himself and others, he puts a lot of pressure on the rim, and he can knock down open shots too.

#140) Won Evans | 6'3” SG | Varina

Evans was part of a very deep Varina backcourt that made a run to the Class 4 state championship game, and he's set to have a big summer and a bigger role his senior year too. He's an excellent piece to a winning team as he can play multiple positions and roles for his team, he can knock down open shots off the catch, he can get downhill and make plays for others, and he is a good perimeter defender as well.

#142) [player_tooltip player_id='3275794' first='Hasaan' last='White'] | 6'2” SG | Glen Allen

White is part of a Glen Allen group that will return next year after a big season, and he is set to be one of their primary options as both a scorer and a playmaker next year. He's a big and physical guard that thrives with his ability to get downhill and finish through contact, he can push in transition and deliver passes for easy buckets for his teammates, he can score it efficiently from multiple levels, and he's a good rebounder for his position too.

#151) [player_tooltip player_id='3571389' first='Nolan' last='Anthony'] | 6'5” SF | James River

Anthony is a two sport star who is getting highly recruited as a baseball prospect, but coming off a big junior season and heading into the summer with Team Richmond he could see coaches start to recruit him for basketball as well. At 6'5” he has the prototypical frame with a strong upper body and long arms, he can knock it down from deep and space the floor, he's surprisingly shifty off the bounce and can hit a variety of tough shots from all three levels, and he has a natural feel for the game as well.

NR: Rasean Miller | 6'4” SF | Huguenot

While Miller wasn't in the last update of the rankings, it's worth giving him a shout out as he'll be in the next one and is one of the more intriguing prospects in the Richmond area with his blend of size, athleticism and budding skillset. At 6'4” he has a frame that should fill out well moving forward, he is a menace in transition who can both push the rock or run the wing and plays above the rim with authority, he can make shots off the catch, and he has all the tools to be a lock down perimeter defender too.
