Hawkins transferred from Maury to Catholic this past season, and immediately stepped into the point guard position where he showed he can be the lead guard of a talented and successful team. The 6'1” guard is very strong which allows him to be physical with the ball and get downhill where he's a good finisher, he can score the ball from all three levels both off the bounce and off the catch, he has great instincts on both ends of the floor, and he helps on the glass as well.

#87) [player_tooltip player_id='2898036' first='Quinton' last='Cruse'] | 6'0” CG | Nansemond River

Cruse had a big time junior year for a resurgent Nansemond River team, as he earned First Team All Region honors while putting up big numbers throughout the season. He's an absolute blur in transition where he can push the pace and get to the rim where he's a good finisher, he's very good in ball screens where he can dissect the coverage and makes the right decision consistently, he can score it from all three levels and work both on and off the ball, and defensively he sets the tone and can guard the other team's best scoring guard too.

#96) [player_tooltip player_id='3571292' first='Ryan' last='Bailey'] | 5'10” PG | Granby

Bailey was the floor general for a very good Granby team this past season, and while he's a bit of a throwback type of lead guard he is perfect for a team with a lot of talent and scoring options. The 5'10” guard is a natural facilitator with a high IQ and the ability to fit passes in tight windows, he is quick and shifty off the bounce with blow by speed to get in the paint, he is a vocal leader and also leads by example, and he can keep defenses honest with his ability to knock down shots from deep.

#102) [player_tooltip player_id='3275759' first='Christian' last='Lynch'] | 6'1” CG | Kempsville

Lynch was one of the best players in the Beach District this year, and a huge catalyst for Kempsville's surprise run to the VHSL Class 5 state tournament this season. The 6'1” combo has a bit of an old school game as he plays with good pace on the ball and has great footwork to create space and get defenders off their feet to get open looks and draw contact, he is deadly from the midrange area with the ability to knock down shots from deep too, and he has great anticipation on the defensive end to jump passing lanes and get easy buckets that way.

#108) [player_tooltip player_id='2815386' first='Kelley' last='King Jr.'] | 6'0” PG | Oscar Smith

King transferred from Great Bridge to Oscar Smith this past season, and he immediately joined an already talented team that was one of the best in the 757 with him at the helm. The 6'0” guard is a dynamic scorer that can create space off the bounce and blow by defenders with hesitations and change of pace, he can score it from all three levels and get hot quickly to fill it up in bunches, and his athleticism makes him a pest on the defensive end too.
