Hunter had a big season for Hargrave this season as one of their primary ball handlers and scorers on the way to an Elite Prep League championship, and this summer I think he's going to be one of the top stock risers in the country. He's a super dynamic guard who thrives in the open floor with his end-to-end speed, he has a great first step and puts a ton of pressure on the defense with his aggressive downhill play, he can knock down open shots from deep, and he has tons of upside on the defensive end with his quickness and athleticism.

#14) [player_tooltip player_id='2091803' first='LJ' last='Holman'] | 6'2” CG | Hargrave

Holman was another breakout player for Hargrave after transferring from Kentucky this season, and he's another player I think will be a big stock riser this summer playing with Team Loaded South on the 3SSB Circuit. Holman is an all-around guard who is a skilled shot maker both off the bounce and off the catch, he is a strong finisher who knows how to use his body to finish in traffic when he gets downhill, he has great length and is a good defender and rebounder, and he's an underrated athlete who can play above the rim as well.

#28) [player_tooltip player_id='3540621' first='Jayden' last='Brown'] | 6'3” CG | STAB

Brown may have been the breakout player in the entire state this year, as he was the most experienced player for a new look STAB team and put up huge numbers throughout the season. The 6'3” combo filled it up all season using his speed and explosiveness to get to the rim and finish above it, he thrives in transition where he attacks aggressively downhill, he improved immensely in his consistency as a shooter from deep, and defensively he's a true lock down guard on the perimeter.

#33) [player_tooltip player_id='1588134' first='Zyon' last='McGlone'] | 5'11” PG | Oak Hill Academy

McGlone transferred to Oak Hill right before the season after being a standout at Peninsula Catholic, and when it comes to raw talent and athleticism you won't find many at his size that can do what he can do. He's a freak athlete who can play above the rim effortlessly when he gets downhill, he is super shifty off the bounce with the ability to create space and make shots from multiple levels, and he has huge upside defensively and is a surprisingly good shot blocker for his size.

#36) Naoh Farley | 6'0” CG | Floyd County

Farley has been an All State performer the past two season for Floyd County and one of the top scorers in the state in those years, as he fits in perfectly with the Buffaloes uptempo and three-point heavy style of play. He's super confident as a shooter as he will let it fly in transition and on the move, he has deep range and a quick release to be able to get his shot off with little space, he attacks closeouts and can push the rock in transition, and defensively he has great instincts to jump passing lanes as well.

#41) [player_tooltip player_id='2815291' first='Justin' last='Huang'] | 6'3” CG | Blue Ridge

The Taiwan native is one of the more underrated guards in the entire state, as he has a ton of tools that are super intriguing and makes him a tough matchup and a winning player as well. He brings great energy and plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor, he is shifty and every move that he makes has a purpose and a counter to get downhill where he can finish through contact, he can knock down shots from deep and get to spots in the midrange, and he's a high IQ and unselfish playmaker too.
