Savannah Area 2027 Prospects to Watch

The Savannah area has a number of college prospects in the 2027 class. As college coaches shift their focus from the transfer portal back to the high school and grassroots circuits this spring and summer, opportunities for exposure and evaluation will increase. Here's a hanful of 2027 prospects from the Savannah area who are trending in the right direction.    A First Team All-Region selection, Thomas averaged 15.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for Bradwell Institute this season. An athletic wing with good positional size and strength, he plays above the rim and is a consistent finisher in transition and around the basket. Thomas is active on the glass, rebounds his position well, and brings energy on both ends. Defensively, he has the tools to make impactful plays, turning stops into offense with his activity, athleticism, and ability to get out in the open floor.     A three level scorer with great length, Knight is a capable shot maker from beyond the arc who can consistently stretch the floor. He combines that with above average quickness, making it difficult for defenders to stay in front of him off the bounce. Knight can create his own shot and attack closeouts. A Second Team All-Region selection, he averaged 10.9 points per game this season and continues to show upside as a perimeter scoring threat.     A high level athlete with good positional size and length, Hall is an intriguing two way prospect who made a strong impact for Benedictine this season. He averaged 10 points per game on his way to earning First Team All-Region honors. The junior excels in transition where his athleticism stands out, and he has the tools to finish above the rim and make plays in space. Defensively, his length and mobility allow him to guard multiple positions and disrupt passing lanes. With continued development in his offensive skill set, he has significant upside as a versatile, high energy wing.     Martin, an All-Region selection, is a high academic 2027 prospect with a combination of skill and good feel for the game. A sharp shooter from beyond the arc, he consistently stretches the floor and makes defenses pay for helping. He has good quickness with the ball, plays with a high basketball IQ, and shows the ability to run a team by making sound decisions, controlling tempo, and getting teammates involved.     Averaging 11.6 points and 4.2 assists per game, Betton is a steady lead guard who does a good job pushing the tempo and making sound decisions with the ball in his hands. He combines good strength with above average quickness, allowing him to get into the paint and create opportunities for himself and others. Betton plays with control, keeps the offense organized, and is a capable perimeter shooter who can knock down open shots when defenses collapse.
