One of the most productive bigs in the greater Cincinnati area, Scales made his presence felt on Friday night. The big fella is a load to handle in the paint and when you combine his size and frame with good footwork and soft touch at the rim, you get a player who can score 20+ points with ease. Scales is crafty as a below the rim finisher, using euro-steps, step throughs and jump stops to get space to score on balance. Scales also blocked a couple of shots as his size and length is also able to make an impact defensively. Look out for Scales as a senior with Cincinnati La Salle.

High school teammates with Scales, Davis had numerous assists to his big man in the pick and roll game on Friday evening. Davis is an athletic off guard who has a quick first step and displayed patience in the pick and roll. Defensively, Davis was flying around the court causing havoc and forcing turnovers. The key for Davis will be to develop a reliable jump-shot, as defenses right now can sag off of him on the perimeter. If Davis has a strong offseason I'd expect him to be one of the most impactful players in the GCL-South next winter.

The man in the middle for Ohio Primetime, Dick did a nice job of filling the lane and scoring in the paint. With his size advantage in the paint, Dick had multiple second and third chance buckets where the ball fell to him. I also liked that Dick wanted to play on the inside and wasn't seen floating around the perimeter. When bigs have size advantages they need to take advantage of this in the paint and Dick did that on Friday night.

One of the top shooters I saw on Friday night, Ramer knocked down at least three 3-pointers with a quick trigger and confident looking shot. Best playing off the catch, Ramer would space the floor from around the arc and spot-up in a shot-ready position to catch and shoot quickly before the defense could close out. This led to a lot of success offensively for Ohio Primetime and Ramer seems like a player who could breakout for Eastern Brown next season with their deep 2027 class.

Ohio Primetime got quality production out of McClary all game long, who was their most impressive creator. McClary showed impressive wiggle on the ball, being able to change speeds and directions as a ball handler. Late in the game, McClary went on a personal 8-0 run where he scored two tough buckets and assisted another. That's the exact type of spark McClary can bring to his team and why he is regarded as one of the most talented guards in the southeast district.
