Players Ready for a Breakout Summer

There was a ton of talent on display all over the place at The Warmup in Memphis this past weekend. Some guys are already on the map, and there are many more out there making a name for themselves. Here is a group of players that played really well and are poised for a big summer. You should get to know them now!    Playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] EYBL 16U over the weekend, TJ really made a name for himself. He is a true PG that handles the ball really well and controls the pace. He is a great passer and can finish at the rim. He is a good defender and pressures the ball with his length and quickness. He can really grow a lot this summer, so look for him to keep getting better.     Zuri played really well for [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] EYBL 16U this weekend. He showed why he is to be considered one of the top players in the state. His athleticism was on display all over the place as he played with a relentless motor. He attacked and finished at the rim, played aggressive defense, and dove after loose balls. He also showcased his shooting ability. This summer on the EYBL circuit will be a great place for him to showcase his abilities.     The quick PG from Southwind took advantage of the stage for Hoop City P32 17U. He used his quickness to really control the tempo and play the game at his pace. He can get to the rim whenever he wants, but can also knock down the 3 to keep defenses off balance. He pressures ball handlers defensively and gets up under them to make them feel uncomfortable. We will hear his name more and more often, I'm sure.     Keep Rod's name on your radar. He is playing on a very talented Alabama Fusion EYBL team over the summer and is already showing why he belongs. You can tell he plays football. He has a strong build and plays physical. He attacks with rim with force and is a very strong defender. His game will continue to not only be on display, but also grow throughout the summer with the opportunity he has.     This kid gets buckets. His skillset was on full display for Hoop City P32 this weekend. He can score wherever and whenever. At the rim, midrange, behind the arc, in transition, off the dribble, catch and shoot. He has an impressive game. He also plays with a high motor and is not afraid to play defense and rebound with the bigs. Be on the lookout for this kid. He'll make noise on the P32 circuit.     TK really came to play for [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] EYBL 16U this weekend. It is a very talented squad, but he really stood out at times. He is a very skilled CG that can play PG, but played more SG with this team. He can pass, dribble, and shoot at a high level. He really played hard with a fantastic motor all weekend and showed to be relentless on defense. He showed why he should be considered at the top of his class in the state of Mississippi.     Kamyrn had a really strong showing for Hoop City P32 this weekend. Do not let his slight frame fool you; he plays strong. He really held his own in the post and used his length and sneaky quickness to his advantage. Defending and rebounding in the post very well. He also showed some good touch around the rim offensively. Watch for him to learn and grow a lot this summer on P32.     This Hoop City PG just plays hard all the time. Whether winning or losing, offense or defense, he plays the same way, showing his competitiveness. He handled the ball really well and showcased his ability to pass and score on multiple levels. He can get to the rim with explosiveness or craftiness and finish. Excited to see what kind of growth he can have on the P32 circuit this summer.
