Pitt Jam Fest Interior Threats

Davie made an impact on the interior converting on a ton of chances around the rim. He was in good spots to rebound. Davie is effective running the floor in transition. His strength allows him to bully smaller opponents who attempt to guard him. He has some versatility with his game and can guard multiple positions. In the game I evaluated of his he provided some depth as a scorer.     Stewart was elite on the interior frequently scoring around the blocks. He made several trips to the charity stripe and connected on most of them. I like the physicality he brings to the table whenever he is on the floor. He is in driving and passing lanes which causes disruption. Stewart is a viable rim runner in transition. Think if Stewart become a consistent threat from deep he would only bolster his stock more as a prospect.     Grant has a nose for finding the basketball. He had great timing throughout the weekend connecting on several scoring chances around the bucket. He frame allows him to eat up space inside and takes away space for defenders to guard him and slashers to attack the lane. He had a nose for rebounds. He plays with an elite motor. HoopTech whose out of Oho had no answer for stopping him.     Shirery is a mile long post player whose bread and butter of his game can be seen when he has his back to the bucket. Shiery shows some flashes of skill but want to see him master playing around the blocks and work on his strength before going out to the perimeter and try to attempt dribble moves. He seems that he has become more fluid over the last several months. He definitely still has a lot to work on but think he is only starting to scratch the surface. He has good timing to go up an contest shots.     Mucher was very productive in the game I saw of his. He had several assists and did a nice job of seeing the floor and connecting with others. His awareness of the game allowed him to be in all the right spots to leave an impact on the game and found ways to stuff the stat sheet. He ran the floor in transition. At the next level he is probably a slightly undersized 4 man and I don't think he is consistently guarding 3's at the college level.     Really like the physicality Tema brings to the game. He uses his length to come down with boards and contest shots. He always seemed to be in the right spots on the floor to convert scoring chances inside. He has great footwork around the painted area of the floor. Tema also went to the charity stripe.     McIlwain impressed with his ability to play inside, his team was a tad shorthanded and I might have caught him on a day were he was playing a tad out of position. He was in good spots on the floor to collect rebounds. Used his length to alter shots. Was in lanes on defense to come up with turnovers. Looking forward to tracking his progress over the next few years.     Craig is naturally a wing player but due to his [program_tooltip program_id='2428253' first='Team' last='Final Red'] teams lack of true size he gets shifted over to play the forward spot. He found ways to rebound the basketball. Craig uses his quickness to out run slower forwards up and down the floor. He chipped in a ton of high percentage looks and is a threat to be on the move in the half-court as an off-ball slasher. Craig is a switchable defender.
