The Phenom Hoops Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill marked my first Phenom Hoops event of the season, and it didn't disappoint. The event featured a deep and competitive 16U division with plenty of talent across the board, creating an environment where players had to earn everything. While a number of familiar names delivered, several standouts separated themselves with their consistency and impact throughout the weekend. Here are six 16U standouts who made their presence felt.

Headlining my list of 16U standouts from the Phenom Queen City Showcase is [player_tooltip player_id='3600930' first='Kamden' last='Jones']. Jones has been on my radar for a couple of years now, so he was one I was eager to see in Rock Hill this weekend. He certainly didn't disappoint, going for 19 points and 8 assists in a win over Upward Tri-County. In terms of pure bucket-getting, I didn't see many better performers than Kamden on Saturday. His shiftiness and craftiness were what most stood out, allowing him to become an elite offensive creator and work around bigger bodies.

This Top-10 prospect caught my eye in my first look at him this spring. Isaiah's bounce and skill immediately stand out whenever you watch him, but he also frequently has plays that demonstrate just how good a player he can be. Addison is comfortable hitting jumpers off the catch and the dribble, but his explosiveness allows him to get to and finish at the rim as the primary handler, off closeouts, or in transition.

Speaking of explosiveness, that is the one word that constantly surrounds Satrel's name when you talk to other scouts and coaches about him. He's got the quick first step, elite bounce, tight handle, and passing ability to be a terrific scorer, but it's about finding the consistent balance of playmaking and an outside shot for Fuller to take the next step into being one of the best guards in the state.

Another Palmetto State guard who turned some heads at the Phenom Queen City Showcase is Samarion. There aren't many 2028s who have had better starts to the AAU season than Glenn, so it was good to catch up with him and PCH this weekend. He went for 21 points and 18 points in Saturday's two games, showcasing his knack for beating defenders off the dribble, forcing turnovers on defense, and earning trips to the free-throw line even when jumpers aren't falling.

Deese might be an under-the-radar name right now, but don't underestimate his value to this [program_tooltip program_id='3597634' first='Upward' last='Stars Tri-County'] group. He did a sound job of running the offense and reading the defense when I watched him Saturday, collecting 8 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Although Hudson is a solid driver and passer, he can also make scrappy plays on the defensive end of the floor to help spark his team.

Rounding out my 16U standouts list is a North Carolina 2028, Rickey Torrrence. Torrence runs with local-based Warriors Elite, and he's another one off to a strong start this spring. He went for 22 points in a matchup with PCH early Saturday morning, taking over a stretch in the first half while using a terrific feel for cutting, polish in playing off two, and positional size to play through contact and frequently get buckets in the paint.
