Phenom Queen City Showcase: 6 16U Standouts

The event featured a deep and competitive 16U division with plenty of talent across the board, creating an environment where players had to earn everything. While a number of familiar names delivered, several standouts separated themselves with their consistency and impact throughout the weekend. Jones has been on my radar for a couple of years now, so he was one I was eager to see in Rock Hill this weekend. He certainly didn't disappoint, going for 19 points and 8 assists in a win over Upward Tri-County. In terms of pure bucket-getting, I didn't see many better performers than Kamden on Saturday. Isaiah's bounce and skill immediately stand out whenever you watch him, but he also frequently has plays that demonstrate just how good a player he can be. There aren't many 2028s who have had better starts to the AAU season than Glenn, so it was good to catch up with him and PCH this weekend. He did a sound job of running the offense and reading the defense when I watched him Saturday, collecting 8 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Torrence runs with local-based Warriors Elite, and he's another one off to a strong start this spring. He went for 22 points in a matchup with PCH early Saturday morning, taking over a stretch in the first half while using a terrific feel for cutting, polish in playing off two, and positional size to play through contact and frequently get buckets in the paint. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
