Sewer Squad rules the Blue Division

Sewer Squad (GA) took home a championship in the 17U Blue Division behind a dominating display from guard/wing [player_tooltip player_id='2979105' first='Landon' last='Grundy']. Grundy poured in 19 points, all two-point field goals, showcasing his ability to navigate inside the perimeter and finish strong around the rim. He made things easy for lead guard Armond Smith, who put up 15 points in their semifinal victory. He cooled off offensively in the championship, but his defense was on full display as he paced things with his full-court pressure. 6-foot-10 big man Tim Johnson was a standout on both ends given his length and ability to alter shots at the rim. He did well to showcase his abilities without getting in foul trouble or slowing down the game. He's one of a few names to track with their squad. 6-foot-3 guard Eric Coleman is another name to get to know given his ability to get downhill and finish at the rim. He's an athletic prospect who isn't afraid to turn up the defensive intensity or get out on the fast break.

CC Elite takes the Orange Championship

Neo Davis and Tre Jefferson were a tough backcourt duo to handle all weekend long for CC Elite's group. Davis led the way while Jefferson filled the void, culminating a nearly 40-point finish in the championship game for Davis. He certainly is a name worth noting given his ability to get off to a fast start in a hurry. He did well to dictate the pace for his squad and Jefferson followed with ease, showcasing his ability to attack the paint and knock down shots on the perimeter with efficiency.

Noble Knights secure the White Division

Noble Knights were the third squad to secure the championship in the 17U division, ultimately defeating HYAA Elite in a tough battle. Jasir Robinson stepped up in a big way with 20 points and two made 3-pointers to take home MVP honors. Though, it was the backcourt musings of Carl Parrott and Melo Burch that ultimately paced them to the title game. Burch finished with 15 points, two made 3-pointers, while Parrott showed his playmaking ability to be an asset in this one. They were a well-rounded group with a number of names to track when it was all said and done. Kaleb Hunt was another unsigned senior who stood out for them as well. He had 18 points in the championship.
