PH Midwest Showdown: 2029 Wing Bucket Getters

I had the chance to evaluate the class of 2029 through the 2 day event. Matured height and frame for age. Efficient scorer from all 3 levels in a fundamental way. Cam is the type of player that makes you fall in love with the game by the way he plays. Finds his spots and time to go at the right moment. Can catch and shoot in rhythm and get to the cup within offensive flow. Defensively has a high motor on the ball as well. Came away with multiple pick pockets to go the other way and create offensive from defense. One of the purest shooters if not the purest shooter out of all the 2029's this weekend. Tall and lengthy frame for textbook 2. Knocked down a handful of 3's in late afternoon game on Saturday against another talented squad. Consistent mechanics throughout shot form. Doesn't need much space to get it off. Also finished at the rim a couple times. Lengthy off guard that fills a valuable wing spot. Had a couple steals on the defensive end to consistently challenge and is active off the ball. His offensive rhythm was really smooth throughout the early afternoon Saturday game I saw. He has a well developed jumper that can be utilized from mid range and beyond arc. Works well in the break phase and finishes around the rim. Had a floater and was successful on a couple offensive rebound put backs. Off the ball he makes smart cuts with curling or flaring off screens to gain advantage. Confident and consistent scorer from beyond the arc. Handling wise broke down defenders with good pace and hesitation to create space. Made solid drive and kick reads contributing as a playmaker to keep team in game. Defensively got after it with extra effort diving for loose balls. Will slot into a mix of the 1 and 2 at times. Caught him in action twice on both Friday and Saturday. Looked to score it more on Friday then mixed it up more the following day. Silky from 3 land with a good and balanced ball handling skill set. Will compete defensively with full court pressure at times.
