Every rankings update brings movement, but this cycle featured a number of 2028 prospects who made some of the biggest jumps on the board. Whether it was consistent production, noticeable development, or strong performances in key settings, these players did more than hold their ground and continued to elevate their stock in a meaningful way. This group is building real momentum across South Carolina and continues to trend in the right direction.

[player_tooltip player_id='2456043' first='Isaiah' last='Addison'] leads off the Stock Risers in the Prep Hoops SC Class of 2028 Rankings. Addison makes a leap from #17 to #9 after establishing himself as one of the best shooters in the state this season. He had 67 made threes on the season, adding plenty of spacing to a strong Wilson offense. The challenge for Isaiah next year will be improving his efficiency, but he has all of the physical tools to be an elite two-guard over the course of his career.

Addison's [program_tooltip program_id='2830220' first='Palmetto' last='Pride NXT Pro'] teammate, Williams, is also a stock riser this month. I finally got to see Lamont in person for the first time this season, and he was even better than I thought he was. While he does need some polishing with his overall game, Lamont is already a dominant player who went for 14.5 points per game, 10.9 rebounds per game, 3.2 assists per game, 2.6 steals per game, and 1.5 blocks per game as a sophomore.

The biggest stock riser in the Class of 2028 March Rankings Update is [player_tooltip player_id='2554841' first='Huck' last='Flinn']. He jumped up 34 spots to #19 Overall and is now in the Top 10 for Point Guard's in the Palmetto State. Huck is wise beyond his years at the one for the Warriors, guarding some of the state's best players on a nightly basis, selflessly running the offense to get others involved, and filling in with scoring and rebounding when needed. I'm excited to see how he performs with Top Shot Basketball this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412592' first='Ian' last='Gause'] is one of the names to know in the Pee Dee. He has tons of potential based on his length alone, but he took a big step in production in 2025-26. Gause put up 10.5 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game, and 1.8 blocks per game, showing a solid all-around skillset for a big man. However, if he can put on a little bit of strength to dominate smaller matchups and hold up against bigger ones, he will see both a boost in numbers and college attention.

The Falcons' big man checks in just inside the Top 25 this time around. He was a new addition to the December Rankings Update, but now he makes a 20-spot jump after getting to see his progression this season. Slaughter is the top stretch big man in his class, and he proved that by putting up 12.7 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game on 40% 3FG (75-189). If he can grow an inch or two, DJ's recruitment will soar sooner rather than later.

Rounding out the stock risers is [player_tooltip player_id='2905346' first='Omega' last='Greene']. Greene is one of my favorite players to watch in South Carolina's 2028 class. He has a shifty handle to beat defenders off the dribble, but he is also strong and bouncy to finish in the paint. Omega showed good signs of improvement as a shooter and passer, but ultimately, those will be the difference in how far he goes at the next level.
