<p>Leo 2029 post <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2964028' first='Elon' last='Henderson'] </strong>is the top post player early on in the Illinois class. He has a lot of tools to work with at his size, length, and with plus athleticism. When he uses quick moves around the hoop and rim runs he is a force. Really like what he brings as a defender being able to block shots. Also on the offensive end can stretch the floor. He was the main interior presence on a team that made it to the state semi finals during his freshman campaign.</p>

<p>“My freshman year making it to state was a crazy experience. That was the first time we had been down state since 2016. I really enjoyed it.”</p>

<p>He was not intimidated at all under the bright lights going up against East St. Louis as he recorded 8 points (3-5 FG), 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks in limited minutes. It was his defensive presence that caught our attention most.</p>

<p>“The experience for me individually was crazy because I didn't expect those moments to happen for me. I was going out there and focusing on my defensive role.”</p>

<p>Henderson has been in the gym working on developing his all-around game.</p>

<p>“Since my 8<sup>th</sup> grade year my game has gotten tremendously better because I have been doing individual work with coaches and training sessions.”</p>

<p>Playing with Brad Beal Elite 15U this summer he has already seen he needs to continue to elevate playing with and against national talent.</p>

<p>“It is really pushing me to play faster. I am playing against some of the top players in the country so I have to step up.”</p>
