Already viewed by many as one of the most athletically gifted players in his class, thanks to his standout physical tools and the belief in their long term upside—[player_tooltip player_id='2879104' first='Flory' last='Kuminga'] provided plenty of insight into why there's so much intrigue around his overall skill set. Many of those flashes came applying pressure at the rim and attacking from the perimeter with growing creativity off the dribble while also leveraging his size and strength to absorb contact on his way to the lane, and showing increased confidence and efficiency as a perimeter shooter. Kuminga also stood out on the defensive end, blocking shots against the glass, disrupting passing lanes, and applying steady pressure on opposing ball handlers at the point of attack.

Over the course of last weekend's Pitt Jam Fest action, [player_tooltip player_id='2884535' first='Ryan' last='Gannon'] showcased the value he provides as a well rounded point guard whose impact is truly felt simply by playing the right way. Gannon stood out as a strong and confident ball handler who impressively demonstrated a calm pace when handling the ball, necessary to read and react off the defense, paired with a tight handle that rarely sees him lose the ball. Gannon also showcased a level of craftiness to his game— freezing defenders with a nice hesitation dribble off the bounce on his way to the rim while also mixing soft touch around the basket when he attacked and got in the lane.

Javion Chapell, a highly athletic forward who frequently plays bigger than his physical measurements suggest, demonstrated an ability to carve out a strong role as an interior finisher. Chappell showed reliable touch and efficiency around the basket, using soft hands and athleticism to convert consistently in the paint. From the short corner and dunker spot, Chapell handled dumpoff passes well and finished effectively, while also displaying the ability to finish in the open floor, running the floor with purpose and authority in transition to catch passes in stride and finish inside.

An intelligent and confident point guard who exudes the necessary level of trustworthiness and feel for the game to consistently orchestrate offense, [player_tooltip player_id='3604764' first='Dennis' last='Addison'] impressed in not only his ability to provide strong ball handling but also a scoring pop when the offense called for it. Addison impressed the most as a finisher around the basket— finishing in the lane as a result of defensive stops while also showcasing his ability to attack driving angles off the bounce and finish in traffic. All while also showing flashes of his confident shot making ability from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2633990' first='Clint' last='Martin'] was relentless around the rim, particularly benefiting from the defensive pressure turned into offense and the constant movement that this Shoreshots 15U UAA's offense generates, consistently finding multiple ways to apply pressure inside. Really developing into a more efficient and physically stronger finisher, Martin thrived not only as finisher around the basket as a result of quick and aggressive defensive stops but also as a cutter cutting to open space to finish from different angles around the basket.
